Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry

Why Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry is Good For You

Iron & B12: Beef is one of the richest sources of iron and vitamin B12, which are essential for energy, focus, and preventing fatigue.

Vitamin C: Broccoli is packed with vitamin C and vitamin K, and stir-frying keeps those nutrients more intact than boiling.

Description

Directions

Step 1

Slice the beef thin against the grain. Toss with 1 tbsp soy sauce and let it sit while you prep everything else.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until it’s smoking hot.

Step 3

Add the beef in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes without moving it. Flip and cook 1 more minute. Remove and set aside.

Step 4

In the same pan, add the broccoli and bell peppers with a splash of water. Cover and steam for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

Step 5

Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds. Return the beef to the pan.

Step 6

Pour in the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry. Toss everything together for 1 minute until the sauce thickens and coats everything.

Step 7

Serve over rice if desired and add the green onion for a topping!
